MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

IRM has well-equipped factory located at Ranchard block, adjoining to the city of Ahmedabad. It is spread over over 2,11,000 sq. feet of area with the total built up area of 65,000 sq. feet. IRM has all the facilities for manufacturing of our products and fabricated accessories as per international standards. Their installed capacity for heavy rubber moulded items in terms of size and quantity is unmatched in India. Their manufacturing unit is also recognized by the renowned third-party inspection agencies like the Lloyds, EIL, IRS, DNV, MECON, ISC, Velosi, Germanicher Lloyds, and CIPET.

PRODUCT DESIGNING

IRM has a full-fledged design department under the able and dynamic leadership of our CMD. Their design unit is fully equipped with the latest software for simulating the actual site conditions. They constantly refer to the latest editions of the specifications in the field of IS, BS, ISO, and PIANC to improve their designs and upgrade our products. They also constantly interact with the user groups, designers, consultants and research institutions (such as the National Institute of Technology ) to satisfy our customer fully through optimum solutions.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & TESTING

IRM has all types of testing facilities in house like load deflection of fenders, hydro / pneumatic test, leak test, ultrasonic test, cyclic test for the entire range of products manufactured by them. They have the biggest in house testing facility to test fenders for load deflection up to 6000 tons in conformance to international standards including PIANC guidelines, which can accommodate any type and size of the fenders available in the World. IRM has a state of art laboratory to test the performance of polymer compounds for continuous improvement and development of new products.

SURVEY,INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE SERVICES

To serve our clients better, they also provide complete services, right from the Site Survey, Designing, Manufacturing, Testing, Supply and Installation of products for port, harbors and jetties and Offshore Platforms. IRM also undertake maintenance and repairing contracts for Fendering Systems / Barge Bumpers / Boat Landings on request. IRM has all the equipments and experienced technical staff to undertake the job of removal, installation & maintenance of Fendering system / Barge Bumpers at the most adverse site conditions.

MARIT and DAVAINE CHAINES company has been manufacturing chains and the needed fittings. With all the modern and efficient means of manufacturing and control, those two companies decided in 1995 to join their production abilities on the same site, in order to offer to their customers a large range of products.

MARIT is able to offer stud link chain from 16 mm to 120 mm diameter, as well as anchor from 50 kg to 10, 000 kg, to the Civil and Military Ship Buildings, to the Offshore Oil Buildings and to the Lighthouses and Beacons. Moreover this company has a big know-how in high resistance non magnetic chain for mine hunters or sweepers (in grade 2 and 3).

DAVAINE CHAINES proposes high resistance chains and fittings (grade 80 and 100) for lifting and transmission utilisation. DAVAINE CHAINES is also a specialist in mine and carrier areas with industrial conveyors, bucket elevator and a large range of chains and fittings with a special anti-wear cover. Among its products DAVAINE CHAINES presents a range of industrial fishing products too.

Both of these companies are agreed by the big international classification committees ( BUREAU VERITAS, LLOYD'S REGISTER OF SHIPPING, DET NORSKE VERITAS, AMERICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING, etc.) and the quality of their products has been approved by the type quality certificate (ISO 9002).

Lankhorst Touwfabrieken combine two centuries of experience in rope making with a strong innovative ability and technical production techniques.
